excavation - cookie style

We excavated M & Ms from cookies using toothpicks as tools.    After charting and graphing our findings, we ate the remains.  Delicious dinosaur discoveries!

Pipe Cleaner Dinos

We created our own dinosaurs out of pipe cleaners. See our creativity on the slide show.

Campfire with Pre K buddies

Today we enjoyed a chilly campfire with our Pre K buddies.   Mrs. Oeth and Mrs. Mullin shared stories and poems, following which the Second graders roasted marshmallows for their buddies.  Everyone enjoyed s'mores, hot cocoa and great company in the Academy Woods.

Mystery Readers

2A was pleasantly surprised by our first 2 mystery readers.  Christopher and Claire shared their favorite picture books with the class.  They did a wonderful job reading aloud and the class listened most attentively.  We look forward to more mystery guests in the future.
