State Float Parade

Last week we had our State Float Parade!  A lot of hard work went into researching a state and creating a float that would represent different facts about that state.  Our students were able to showcase their creations to third graders and also to any family that was able to come in for the parade.  Enjoy the slideshow.

Star Party

To celebrate their positive behavior, the Firebolts earned a Star Party last week!  Here are some photos from the day.  We are proud of our students as they show compassion, assertion, responsibility, empathy, and self-control on a daily basis!

Star of the Week

Our latest Star of the Week, Miles!

3rd Grade Wax Museum

Our second graders had the opportunity to visit the Third Grade Wax Museum, where students portrayed famous people from the past, ranging from Althea Gibson to Steve Jobs.  It was an exciting experience and our students got a glimpse of something to look forward to for next year!

Read Across America

Today is Read Across America Day, an initiative on reading and also the birthday of Dr. Seuss.  Students are having a great time enjoying various activities.  So far, we've made and are wearing Dr. Seuss hats, participated in a Dr. Seuss themed assembly, and just read with middle school students.  Enjoy some photos below...
