Happy Birthday, Nik!

This week, the Firebolts celebrated Nik's birthday! Students enjoyed a delicious cookie cake and spent some time at the carpet listening to Nik's mom read, Diary of a Wimpy Kid.  Nik, we hope you had a wonderful birthday celebration with your friends.

Native American Day

As a culminating activity for our study of Native Americans and their culture, second graders participated in Native American Day the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.  The day consisted of learning activities with our specialists, a hike, diorama making and perhaps the students' favorite, the feast! 2nd Grade Concert & Kids For Kids Project

This week, second graders performed their concert for the entire Lower School! They did a wonderful job up on stage, singing out to the crowd.  Following the performance, all second graders began to wrap the gifts that were donated for the Kids For Kids project.
