Meeting our Pre-K Buddies

After much anticipation, we met our Pre-K buddies!  The buddies completed a getting-to-know-you activity followed by fun on the playground!

 

Community Books

We are finishing our Community Unit. During this time, the students interviewed different members of the Columbus Academy community, including the Headmaster, The Director of Technology, the Receptionist and Alumni/ Development staff.

 


 

September Birthdays - Ryann and Charlotte

 

Ryann and her dad shared brownies and a story about dogs!

Mrs. Adams and Charlotte made toaster strudel for the class! Charlotte taught the class how to eat it "her" way.

Classroom Centers

Three times per week, 2A takes time to work in small groups with hands-on activities.  As you can see from the slide show to the right, our centers include base 10 blocks, tangrams, dominoes, geoboards, puzzles and games.  2A is having a great September so far!
