Caesar's Creek

Despite the rain, the Second Grade had a wonderful time visiting Caesar's Creek.  Students explored the small museum at the visitor center, watched a movie about bats and saw real baby bats, and finally, went fossil hunting in the rain!

Cursive

Since the Firebolts have learned all their lowercase and uppercase cursive letters,
they have been practicing their cursive first and last names.  One way we practiced was
with shaving cream on our desks!

Star of the Week & Happy Birthday, Arjun!

Our latest Star of the Week, Arjun, also celebrated a birthday this week!  Students enjoyed donuts and a special visit from his mom.

Mystery Reader

Our latest Mystery Reader, Mrs. Brigdon, surprised the class before break with a story at the carpet!
